Adapters (AT)

Adapter AT is a connecting element with different-type connectors at the ends of extension wire. Adapter allows to plug thermocouples and resistance thermometers in measuring line or instrument.
Adapters designed for operation with reference thermocouples are supplied with initial calibration for compliance with GOST 8.338 requirements to extension wires.

Thermocouple connectors of adapter correspond to standards ASTM E1684 и ASTM E1129, and have error not more than 1,1°С under connector temperature difference equal to 40°С. The error is reduced in proportion to connector temperature difference reduction.

Tolerance class: k0, k1, k2 (for thermocouple adapter)

Note. In compliance with item 5.2 of GOST 8.338-2002 under operating and free adapter end temperature equal to 100°С and 0°С correspondingly, thermo-emf value should not deviate from NSC values for more than ±0,2·DADD, where DADD – maximum permissible NSC deviation of 1-class wires according to IEC 60584-3.  For class 0 adapters NSC deviation does not exceed values given in the table:
