These thermocouples are designed for tempera-ture measurement in high-temperature gaseous medium which does not destroy thermowell material. Thermocouple design allows sensing element calibration without thermocouple dismantling. 21.06 modification thermocouple is manufactured using five-channel straw made of aluminium-oxide ceramics (C799). Control thermocouple can be mounted in central bore 4 mm diameter. Four peripheral bores allows to product thermocouple with one or two sensing elements. Five-channel straw is mounted inside ceramic thermowell. 22.06 thermocouple has two inner ceramic ther-mowells, that are positioned in parallel. One of inner thermowell is designed for control or reference ther-mocouple. TCS, TCR (TCB) 21.06 or 22.06 thermocouple has metal outer thermowell made of heat-resistant alloy Fe-Cr-45%Ni or Kanthal APM, diameter (D) 20 or 27 mm correspondingly. Kanthal APM alloy has increased heat resistance and is recommended for use in sulphur-containing atmosphere and atmos-pheres with high carbon potential, because it is highly resistant to sulphur, sulphur-containing compounds and carbonization. Inner thermowell in both modifications is made of aluminium-oxide ceramics. Leak-proof safety fittings. TCS, TCR (TCB) 21.06 and 22.06 work part design is shown in the picture. Inner thermowell is made of ceramics, thus, it is necessary to protect thermocouple from impact during installation and operation. Thermowell damage results in quick thermocouple wire destruc-tion. Movable fitting UNKJ 031, UNKJ 041 or movable mounting flange UNKJ 030.00 are used for thermo-couple installation at site (see section 11)/ 22.06 thermocouple design is covered by utility model patent No. 94700.
